Road Games

This is a collection of games that you can print out and play while on a road trip.

Each of these games uses the license plates of vehicles or common street signs as the game pieces. The links below will take you to a printer-friendly game board. Just print the page to get a playing board. Each time you load or refresh the page, the game board will be generated and randomly populated with the State names.

You can play these games as you travel or just keep track of the license plates and then play when you arrive at your destination.

State Bingo
Plays like regular Bingo. The first one to get 5 in a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally wins. You can try variations of the regular Bingo game like: Four Corners, Letter X (two diagonals), Small Box (all boxes around the FREE space), Letter T (Top row and Middle column), Double Bingo (any two Bingos), etc.

Street Sign Bingo
Plays like regular Bingo. The first one to get 5 in a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally wins. You can try variations of the regular Bingo game like: Four Corners, Letter X (two diagonals), Small Box (all boxes around the FREE space), Letter T (Top row and Middle column), Double Bingo (any two Bingos), etc.

State Maze
This is a race from the Start (top) to the Finish (bottom). The first one to make a complete path from the Start to the Finish wins. The path does not need to be the shortest, just the first. In the case of a tie, use the shorter path as the winner.

State Rain 4x4 and State Rain 5x5
Avoid getting a rainy state. The first one to fill in all of the clear states wins. If you get a rainy state, you are out of the game. You may have to set your browser to print background images to get the rain on this game. In IE go to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Tab - Printing section

State Minefield 4x4 and State Minefield 5x5
Avoid getting a rainy state. The first one to fill in all of the clear states wins. If you get a mine state, you are out of the game.

States List
Use this to keep track of the states that have been sighted. You can check them off as you find them or number them as you find them. You may want to print off a couple of these so you have extras.
