This is a JavaScript version of a really funny word game that a friend of mine at work made up.   It will translate a word or sentetence into Double Chinese, kinda like Pig Latin, but with an asian twist.   We will not use the real name of the friend at work, but let's just call him Roniconkon.

This script uses regular expressions, or "regexps", to match characters, or patterns, in strings to convert the original string into the Double Chinese string.   The script will add "on" after every consonant, like Pat would become Ponaton.   For more information on regexps, you should visit this Netscape Developers page.
